The building is the sign of urbanization development, with the acceleratingprocess of urbanization, the scale of urban infrastructure in china expand day by day,and there are more and more large buildings. Due to various factors, the process ofoperation of these projects building and its equipment will produce distortion, whichshould be considered as a normal phenomenon when within the certain limits. But whenthe deformation exceeds a certain limit it will affect the normal use of the building.What’s more, it will affect the safety of buildings and cause heavy losses to stateproperty in the severe. Therefore, in the construction and operation period of thebuildings, we must monitor them, which is called deformation monitoring. The basicmeans of grasping the building work state is deformation monitoring, which includesthe following main purpose: analyze and evaluate the security status of building、testand verify the parameters of design, feedback the quality of design andconstruction、study the normal regular patterns of deformation and the method offorecast deformation. The main purpose of the safety monitoring is to determine thework state of buildings, which will ensure the safe operation of buildings, so, we shouldestablish a complete safety evaluation theory in order to analyze and evaluate the safetyof buildings, which emergence and develop a new building health diagnosis theory.Obtaining the first-hand information by deformation monitoring, you can monitor thestatus change and the work station of the engineering buildings, and when discover theirregularities, for the purpose of safety we should analyze the reasons timely、takemeasures to prevent accidents、improve the way of operations. This is the real sourceof this topic.This paper taking the project of CD Raffles Square deformation monitoring forexample, expounded the detail of the whole process about deformation monitoringscheme design,data acquisition and processing and establishment of the model.Alsodesigned a set of targeted and practical monitoring program and successfully completethe project task.First of all, through the introduction section, this paper expounded the importanceand necessity of deformation monitoring, and combined with the research situation ofdomestic and overseas, made this paper’s research direction and train of thought clear. Secondly, introduced the basic situation of the project of CD Raffles Square, andcombined with actual situation to analyse its deformation monitoring scheme. Thenbriefly introduced the whole process of deformation monitoring, and emphasised on thedetailed introduction of the implementation of the monitoring scheme and deformationanalysis. Finally, combined with the practical work in the project of CD Raffles Squaredeformation monitoring, this paper introduced the implementation of deformationmonitoring’s design scheme in engineering application, how to set up a model fordeformation trend forecast, etc. In the conclusion of this paper, the author alsosummarized the main achievements obtained in this project, concluded the problems inthe paper and forecasted the future research direction.The paper took the basis of CD Raffles Square deformation monitoring, combinedwith the practical work of the project, and put forward targeted and feasibledeformation monitoring scheme, technical means and data processing analysisforecasting model, and this has a certain significance to the similar large buildingproject.
