Building deformation monitoring is Using observations of a building in theequipment load and the influence of various factors affecting the structure of theoverall shape of the position and change, the long-term measurements. In order topredict the change trend of building deformation, for the safety of the buildingconstruction to provide security. Because of the large building monitoring cycle is long,the data from the huge volume, it is necessary to establish an information system formonitoring data for the scientific management and use.Previous monitoring data information system only realize the data storage, inquiry,calculation, and the generation of deformation, the result is too onefold expression. Inthis paper the system based on the analysis of the demand, the function of the systemand database design. And the GIS technology is applied to the deformation monitoringsystem in the realization of the function, using professional ArcGIS Engine seconddevelopment software and GeoDatabase database development. The application of GIStechnology on one hand is for the good result data and maps of the space analysiscombining realization, on the other hand is provided by ArcGIS Engine control andclass library simplified developing difficulty.This paper expounded the first chapter of the purpose and content at home andabroad, and the development of the deformation monitoring system is discussed in thispaper. And then in the second chapter presents the deformation monitoring of theimplementation of the methods and content, which mainly divided into settlementobservation and horizontal displacement related monitoring sites arrangement,accuracy, observation period, and happy since the program, for example, the detailedintroduction of deformation monitoring and implementation plan. The third chapterpresents the development concerns are technology and software, including COMtechnology, ArcGIS Engine software and GeoDatabase database system structure, and the development of basic ArcGIS Engine realize principle. Second, in chapter4of themethod with the system the demand analysis of the system, and focuses on the wholesystem, function and the database design. In chapter5according to the design of thesystem and application development technology to realize the function of thedeformation monitoring system: mainly is the basic map browsing, data query, graphicgeneration and data management, this paper focuses on the innovation points it is usingSceneControl control to the data of the settlement of three dimensional simulation andthe generation of isoline. Finally, in chapter six of the co ntent and ahead of theconclusions, the paper’s characteristics and research results is summarized and furtherresearch in the future is put forward.
