Xiangjiaba hydropower station is located in Fushui County of Yunnan (rightbank) and Sichuan Province Yibin county (on the left bank of Jinsha River in thedownstream), is the Jinsha River hydropower base in a hydropower station. Fromhydropower station dam area reconnaissance revealed shows, Xiangjiaba HydropowerStation dam site area of complex structure, not only developed a fault and crush zone,and the growth anticline and deflection. The construction of intensive development inthe dam site area of a smaller area, makes the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station damarea of the local rock is broken. Therefore, to fully understand and accuratelydetermine the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station dam area structure feature and spatialdistribution characteristics, became control Xiangjiaba Hydropower Stationconstruction is one of the key problems.This paper from the regional geological conditions and geological conditions ofthe dam site of dam site, in the analysis of landform, formation lithology,characteristics of crustal stress field, tectonic movement and based on thecharacteristics, focusing on analysis of the dam structure characteristics, while thedam area, tectonic evolution process were analyzed. And then to the scene to exposefaults based on dew point, combined with drilling hole, flat slope uncovers the dewpoint, the establishment of three-dimensional model. With steep fault scheme andbend fault scheme, from left to right side extension process in order to increasedrilling as a control point, contrast model to expose faults distribution trend, on theformation of fault model data are corrected, to generate tomographicthree-dimensional model which method was amended several times, eventuallydetermine the fault distribution case. Analysis results show that, on the left bank of thefault (extrusion) should be gentle. At the same time on the stability of damfoundation is calculated, the calculation results show that, In the normal storage waterlevel380m and and not considering earthquake conditions, dam foundation stabilitycoefficient is1.560; in the normal storage water level380m elevation and at the sametime considering earthquake conditions, left factory3profile in dam foundation stability coefficient is1.399, than the normal water level under the condition of low380m height0.161, relatively stability.
