The Application Of Ecological Restoration Design In Urban Landscape Planning

It has been seen in recent years that people show an ever greater concern about environmental problems which become increasingly worse So more and more people have aimed at the principles of ecology, and have brought forward a lot of methods of ecological planning and design and the ecological restoration design is one among these methods.The waterfront which has internal permanent attraetion for humankind is the most sensiti-ve area in urban ecological environment. However, at Present days of the industrial civilization, with accelerating of urbanization and fastly enlarging of city size, some problems, such as the pollution of the environment, the lack of resource, the expanding of population, the traffic confusion, the unbalance of culture and the ecosphere crisis, have arised. These problems have badly influnced the development of urban waterfront. The whole world has know the importance of ecosphere crisis and the protection of environment.But, how to treat the urban waterfront which is the typical environment of human living?This article, based on the current domestic waterfront landscape construction, the interviews of the existing theoretical study of the river landscape planning and design, the analysis of specific cases and the landscape ecology, restoration ecology and landscape planning and design theories. Take yiwujiang’s bank of hejie sectiong as an example, analyze its status and the problems, put forward rehabilit-ation programs, in order to use the theory to practice, then test theory through practice.Reference value and beneficial exploration are established for the landscape planning of urban waterfront district in china.
