The problems for fire protection and anti-fire of steel structure building have been paidmore attentions by domestic and foreign scholars and a lot of research results have been madefor any years especially after the "9.11". As the bearing component part of the large steelstructure buildings, the high temperature performance in fire of the steel arch structure andcorrugated steel webs structure was also draw everybody’s attentions in recent years. In thispaper, the relevant research results are summarized and the main research work have beendone as follows:(1) Analysis methods to calculate the temperature field of steel structure components andthe physical properties with thermodynamic performance of steel under high temperature aresummed up for the mechanical properties analysis of the structure component in thesubsequent chapters.(2) Based on elastic theory, the stability variations of a circular double-hinged steel archexposed to fire are investigated, the expressions of critical loads, unstability criticalcoefficient and critical central angle are formulated, the temperatures influences to thematerial properties of structural steel and the internal forces are taken into account inanalytical process. A recommedation is proposed that the mechanical behaviour of the double-hinged steel arch at elevated temperatures can be unbiased quantified on the basis of thevariations of unstability critical coefficient, critical central angle, internal forces andmechanical properties of steel, so the proposed model has significant potential for use in theanalysis of a steel arches at elevated temperatures.(3) In the example, numerical calculations and simulation about variations of stability in-plane, critical loads, unstability critical coefficient and critical central angle of a circulardouble-hinged steel arch exposed to fire in different time are conducted and the analysisresults are compared with a foreign literature.(4) Three different shear buckling modes of the corrugated steel web beam under hightemperature of fire are investigated on the basis of temperature variation of beam and theeffect of high temperature to material property of structural steel is taken into account, theexpressions of critical shear stress and shear buckling parameter are proposed and their variation trends along with the change of high temperature is analysed in the example, arecommedation is proposed that the load-carrying capability status should be unbiasedestimate on the basis of the variation of shear buckling coefficient in order to provide moreaccurate predictions for the load-carrying capability of corrugated steel web beam in fire.
