"Energy Crisis"," Environmental Pollution" and "Sustainable Development" are three major world problems have plagued mankind. Today, as a clean and renewable energy, solar energy is increasingly concerned about by the world. Development and utilization of solar energy has become a major theme of the international community. It has also become the important content of countries’sustainable development strategies. As an important component of utilization of solar energy, photovoltaic power along with its cost reduces ceaselessly, hope to become the main body of world power supply.Each year the theoretical reserves of solar energy equivalent to1.7trillion tons of standard coal in China. For photovoltaic systems, photovoltaic conversion rate of PV cells is too low and it has been restricting the development of the industry. In addition to finding the higher photoelectric conversion rate and affordable materials, to improve the maximum power output of photovoltaic cells based on the existing photoelectric conversion rate is a crucial issue, which is also the main direction of our study.In order to control the photovoltaic cell’s output better, at the beginning we use photovoltaic cell’s mathematical model in engineering to carry out simulation with the Matlab to analysis and research of influence of sunlight and temperature on the PV output volt-ampere characteristic. By combining theory and simulation analysis, we introduce the MPPT of the photovoltaic power generation system and three kinds of MPPT algorithm in detail. We also optimize one algorithm based on one of the three algorithms.In addition, we have designed the main circuit and MPPT control circuit of a30W off-grid photovoltaic power generation system. We have analyzed the Buck circuit, drive circuit, detection circuit, the control circuit of charging and discharging of battery, the relay circuit and MPPT control circuit based on TMS320F2812DSP. We have used a new method to improve parts of the traditional hardware circuit module.
