Along with the ship power system expands unceasingly, the grid topology structure isincreasingly complex. And the analysis of the traditional methods is hard to predict variousaccidents, so it put forward higher request to the ship power system analysis. Digitalsimulation system has the advantage of not restricted by the size or complexity of simulationobject. It can be ensure the safety of the simulation test at the same time have very goodeconomical and practical, and can be used to predict the unknown properties in the design anddevelopment of new system. Therefore, the development of high efficiency, with goodeconomic and practical ship power system simulation software has become vital.This topic mainly research on the steady simulation analysis software of ship turbinegenerating system which was based on model and supported by database. The software wasdeveloped with VC++6.0as a development platform and the program designing thought ofobject-oriented. Ship power system simulation system is divided into four parts: graphicaluser interface, object-oriented database, basic algorithm and advanced application algorithms.The graphical user interface is man-machine interactive tools. It can establish eachelement equipment graphics modular model of ship power system to help the user settingmodels. It is still the carrier connecting to other function modules, the user through graphicinterface menu bar call other simulation algorithm functions, and then shows that thebackground computation result to the users.The database model is worked for managing all the related data of turbine ship systemsimulation. Establishing a perfect object-oriented database management system for dataclassification unified management can make storage or reading data quickly andconveniently;The network topology analysis module is used to identify the path connectionrelationship of ship power system simulation diagram, realize topology analysis function ofthe simulation software, the topological module automatically numbers components andanalysises connecting relation to any connected power system wiring diagram, precise andconvenient to give the topological analysis results, achieve topology analysis intelligent.Advanced application algorithm is the core of the simulation software. In order to realizeand test the turbine generating steady-state system simulation analysis function, implant twokind of power flow analysis algorithm to the system: One is the Newton method that is a veryeffective solution for nonlinear equations. It is one of the most widely used methoe for solving flow problem in electric power system. The other is improved node potential methodaimed at the complex ship power system.Finally through operation analysis of multiple simulation examples verify the reliabilityof the simulation system, and imply that the simulation software has certain practical value.
