| Hybrid monohull composed of deep V section and Semi-Submerged Bow has excellentmotion performance in waves. However,when it sails in sea,some accidents such asgrounding and striking on rocks are likely to occur, which will damage the hull. After theseaccidents,the damaged hull inclines and floating condition changes. Free surface caused bywater leaking into the tank will decrease the stability. And sloshing in the damaged tank cangreatly influence motion performance of the ship.Therefore,in this paper motion performance of damaged hybrid monohull is researched,including influence of floating condition variety, liquid tank sloshing together withSemi-Submerged Bow viscosity. The main content is as follow:1.To research on sloshing in damaged tank,the definite condition is established based onpotential flow theory. Added mass of sloshing is solved by panel method. Resonancephenomenon and influence of fluid viscous damping on sloshing load is analyzed.2. The formula of mass force and hydrostatic restoring force under non-upright floatingcondition is derived and the liquid load of hull motion and sloshing is solved by threedimensional potential flow theory. Based on the above method, damaged ship motionequation is established. By comparison of motion and wave load response before and afterdamage,effects of floating condition,stability and sloshing on motion response after damageare analyzed. Design extreme value of section load is predicted based on real oceanenvironments.3.To obtain the effect of the asymmetry Semi-Submerged Bow viscosity,potentialtheory and CFD method are used separately to calculate the hydrodynamic performance of theasymmetry Semi-Submerged Bow Besides,by comparison of hybrid monohull longitudinalmotion before and after damage,the influence of Semi-Submerged Bow on the motion ofdamaged hybrid monohull is researched;4.According to the characteristic of Semi-Submerged Bow and second type damagedcompartment,motion response prediction method of the damaged hybrid monohull is putforward. According to the motion prediction method,damaged hybrid monohull motion onregular wave at different wave angle is predicted and influence of wave angle on motion performance of damaged hybrid monohull is analyzed. |
