The main pylon of the right branch cable-stayed bridge of Ma Anshan ChangjiangRiver highway bridge applies reinforced concrete arc-pylon.The structural forceperformance of the bridge pylon is complex, and it’s focused on mostly in engineeringdesign. Based on the right branch cable-stayed bridge of Ma Anshan Changjiang Riverhighway bridge, this thesis calculated the arc-pylon by finite element software.Byparticipating in the1:10model test of the arch tower structure to get relevant data and docontrast analysis,the force performance of arc-pylon was deeply researched.The chiefcontents are as follows:(1)The development situation of the multi-pylon cable-stayedbridges and arc-pylon cable-stayed bridges was summarized.(2) The static characteristics ofthe bridge during construction and service stage are analyzed through establishing alongitudinal model of the right branch cable-stayed bridge.(3) According to the longitudinalcalculation results, the cable force and beam support reaction force under several keyconditions was collected.,spatial analysis model of cable-pylon is established in the loadcase mentioned by finite element analysis software-ANSYS.(4)The ANSYS calculationresults with1:10arch tower model in the corresponding test conditions,concrete,steel strainmeasured values were compared and combined with observations of deformation andfracture of the test model, stress distribution, deformation of the law and crack developmentof the arc-pylon under the bridge construction phasecantilever state, the normal use limitstate and ultimate limit state.was analysised.
