Silo structure belong to outdoor building which storage loose granular or powder materials.Silo structure is widely used in the agriculture,the chemical industry,the mining, the metallurgical industry,the electric power industry and many other fields.In the silo structure,the stress produced by the temperature load can be quite large,this will cause serious damage of silo structure, so as to bring harm to the silo structure.Owing to the thermal coupling action of the temperature and the storage lateral pressure of the silo is a new filed of the silo research in recent years,and the research of the silo construction experience on the issue is relatively insufficient.So it has significant theoretical and future practical value for the thermal coupling finite element analysis on the prestressed concrete circular silo.In this paper,a prestressed reinforced concrete circular silo is taken as a prototype.Using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS to establish a circular silo model.It has five kinds of load conditions.It make the sequentially coupled thermal stress finite element analysis.Because of the effects of environmental temperature is constantly changing with time,soit use the type analysis for transient analysis.The main content of this paper are as follows:⑴ It focus on the ABAQUS thermal structure coupled finite element analysis of the inside and outside differences in temperature and the coal storage lateral pressure.Analysis of the thermal coupling effect on the stress and deformation of silo structure.It found that a larger temperature difference between inside and outside of silo structure will make the greater influence on the stress and deformation.⑵ Make the thermal coupling effects of the seasonal temperature difference and coal storage lateral pressure with the same model,we consider two typical conditions of the seasonal heating and cooling season.Analysis of the two kinds of stress and deformation effect of silo structure.It found that a sharp saesonal cooling will make thegreater influence on the stress and deformation of silo structure.⑶ Make the thermal coupling effects of the solar radiation temperature difference and coal storage lateral pressure with the same model,and make a assuming simulation on the sunshine temperature field.Analysis of the thermal coupling effect on the stress and deformation of silo structure.⑷ Make a comparative analysis between the value of environmental temperature effect in the‘Code for design of reinforced concrete silos’ and the result of the ambient temperature effect and lateral pressure coupling in this paper.It found that the the value of environmental temperature effect in the ‘ Code for design of reinforced concrete silos’ is smaller.⑸ According to the‘Code for design of reinforced concrete silos’,the silo structure is calculated by the deep bin calculation or shallow bin calculation is not very clear.according to the calculation formula of the deep bin stored material pressure and the calculation formula of the shallow bin stored material pressure will appear a phenomenon of no cohesion.Therefore,this article on silo models adopted respectively by the deep bin calculation and the shallow bin calculation,and compared and analyzed the two results.It found that Their difference is bigger.The results of this study can be used for analysis and engineering design reference of silo structure.
