In recent years, Chinese domestic metro construction has been developing rapidlywith the economy growth and science progress. With the characteristic of punctuality,high efficiency and security, metro has been being the first selected vehicle for theresidents of domestic cities. This year, a tri-lines combined network is going to beapplied to Tianjin Metro, which is a promising development prospect. Being one ofthe important equipment in the station, the elevastors take an important part in thepassenger evacuation within a short time. The elevators service quanlity directlyaffect the metro security operation. The elevators accidences happened from time totime these years, which would bring a big irreparable lost because of the short intervalbetween two trains and intensive passengers flow at the station. The government,media and the residents pay high attention to the elevators service quanlity at themetro station. A frequent accident happening would make the passengersdissatisfactory and complain if seriously, also bring a bad influence on the metrooperation.Based on the PDCA principle, taking the elevators of Tianjin Metro Line1as thestudy object, and taking the elevatoes accidence duration time in the guatantee periodas the original data, the reliability, i.e. the elevators security service status index, isevaluated. The analysis starts from the reliability index of elevators service being at alower level. Five important factors, i.e. personnel management, resource available,department attribution, interface management and operation management, are selectedfor main analysis. After that, the redical reasons of the problems are searched and theimprovement measurements for executive are worked out.Based on the contract assessment during the paid time, the operation quality ofthe elevators maintenance unit is controlled, supervised and assessed with thecombined method of befor-accident control and after-accident control. The elevatorsservice data during paid time is collected for comparing the data from paid time andguarantee time. After analysis, we could get the consequence of how to improve thereliability index. Finally, the problems are settled in a new PDCA cycle for sustainingthe improvement and effectively controlling the reliability index and keeping it at ahigh level.
