Nanjing Metro Line 1 came into use in 2005 and its total operation time is more than fourteen years.What Nanjing Metro operators use basic vehicles maintenance system is the traditional maintenance in the early stage of operation.That is running preventive "maintenance plan"(such as daily check,biweekly check,March inspection,yearly inspection,etc.)by mileage and time and the train after the failure of "breakdown maintenance".With the deepening of vehicle maintenance,we pay attention to subway maintenance strategy study,and timely introduce of the RCM(reliability centered maintenan ce)idea.Based on RCM theory,and maintenance of the existing traditional system,and optimization of vehicle maintenance,put forward a "full effect repair" of the vehicle maintenance mode.Nanjing subway cars full effect repair system is a new subway maintenance mode,and is a combination of traditional service and the RCM-based,and is optimal allocation of resources as the guiding ideology of a system of repairs.Through years of vehicle maintenance practices,"full effect repair" vehicle maintenance model has been initially formed,now fully extended to the Line 3?Line 4?Line 10 of the vehicle,and achieved the desired goal.In this paper,taking Nanjing Metro Line 1 as an example,study on the quality of vehicle maintenance management of the new method,how to use the RCM for quality management,how to improve the utilization rate of vehicles,and how to quality control conditions reduce maintenance costs.The achievement of this paper helps to support the further investigation of reliability centered maintenance for Nanjing Metro as well as other urban rail traffic related enterprises.
