In the beginning, the research discussed the China’s energy consumption statusfirstly, which indicates the necessity to reduce the energy consumption of publicbuildings. According to China’s energy status, and comparing to the development ofdomestic and international teaching building lobby design, the research proposed thenecessity of thermal environmental study in teaching building lobby. The researchinvestigate different types of teaching building in cold region, and then the strategyand form for teaching building lobby design are summarized.According to the survey results of two teaching building of Tianjin University,the author summarizes the demand and experience of the users in suchcommunication space of the teaching building lobby. Besides consideration offunction, form and structure need, it explore passive design techniques to improve thethermal environment of the lobby space form the aspects of the plan design, thebuilding design and the external structure design.Finally, conclude and put forward tothe rationalization proposals. Solar radiation is applied to heat in winter, and naturalventilation and heat insulation are used to cool in summer. Based on the a series offactors which may affect thermal environment of teaching building lobby in coldregion, the research is tested and simulated by the program Ecotect experiment,which is expected to get some reference for practical architecture design. |
