Research On The Design Of Vegetation Landscapes In Chongqing Tianxun Ecological Farm

In terms of ecological farm construction, many of them are located in theareas where the surrounding environment consists of mountain, forestry, andwater resource. This research will be focused on how to establish an ecologicalfarm in accordance with local conditions and to enhance the viewing experiencethrough attractive vegetation landscapes and specific theme of vegetation color.The case study of Tianxun Farm in Chongqing is conducted for these purposes.The results of this case study will contribute to the research on the constructionof ecological farms in the southeast foothills in Guizhou province, where hassimilar geographical and environmental conditions.The outline of this research is to study the background knowledge andnecessity of vegetation landscape construction in Tianxun Farm under the urbanand regional dimensions. The applicable plants are selected and the combinationof plant community is suggested based on the following process that review thelocal vegetation, list the common green plants in Chongqing, analyze some keyfactors on the impact of plant configuration via software or books, and identifythe regional plant theme taking account of the overall planning. The five keyfactors are selected for this study. Considering the project is located in theregion with undulating topography, terrain is one of the key factors. Anotherkey factor is horizon owing to the farm is closely related to the surroundingenvironment which is the part of landscapes. The third factor is noise, becausethe farm approaches the highway and the location of farm and plants growing toavoid the noise are important. Color that can be adjusted by the plants haspsychological influence and is defined as one of key factors. The last factor istheme and the plant configuration is integrated with overall planning of TianxunFarm.Combined with landscapes structure and view from the overall planning ofTianxun Farm, it is recommend the vegetation landscapes structure shouldhighlight the focus, connect through lines, and construct in all aspects. Thesurface is planned for the green background and plant function. The lines aredesigned mainly for guidance. The10plant attractions are constructed as the plant nodes and among them, the color is adjusted to ensure the harmony andintegrity.Through this case study, the thesis discuss the methods on the constructionof vegetation landscapes system in the plan of ecological farm and analyze theprinciple of vegetation structure of Tianxun Farm and its plant selection andconfiguration.
