As the bottleneck problem influencing urban development such as traffic jamand energy shortage becomes increasingly important, vigorously developing andconstructing rail transit has been regarded as an effective way to improve urbantransportation and save energy and reduce emission. With the development ofPeople-oriented society, the safety of public transport system becomes increasinglyimportant. The platform shield door system on the urban rail transit platform hasbecome a necessary supporting facility of the station because that it can reduceplatform fall accidents, improve waiting environment and reduce station staffing,meanwhile, it is also the facility of expansion and rebuilding for many old lines. As asafety equipment of the platform, the safety and reliability of the platform shield doorsystem is important, and must be ensured.Based on the project of the platform shield door system of Shenyang Metro Line2, the paper designs the structure of platform shield door system,makes finiteelement analysis, check strength and experiment the structure to ensure the safety andreliability of the structure of the platform shield door system.The structural design of the shielded door system contains the structure of doorand door machine system. In order to validates the strength, stiffness and stability ofthe structure, We take a set of doors and door machine structure to built finite elementmethod and imitate four kinds of limited operating condition by using the finiteelement software ANSYS to make finite element analysis and check strength on thestructure of the shielded door system. We simulate the shielded door system under thewind load and the crowd extrusion load in laboratory, test the deformation andresidual deformation of all the parts of the system structure, analyze the experimentdata, and validate the conclusion of finite element further. It’s proved that thestructure of the shielded door system is safe and reliable to be used through thetheoretical analysis and the experiment verification.
