Transfer station structured commonly in the mining, metallurgicalindustry, is a transit point between the two elevated fixed belt conveyors andplays the pivotal role in the industrial transportation system. Transfer stations,mostly open-framework structure, large aspect, the remaining layers in additionto the equipment level is not usually set on the floor, but it’s a typical tallflexible structures; disturbing force of belt tension and power equipmentvibration excitation of the transfer station structure as the initiator source, bothacting on the top of the structure. Therefore, regardless of the structure or bythe force of nature, with the belt conveyor transfer station structure should bemuch more unfavorable than the general structure.In this paper, the Oman project CT-3113-02transfer station is describedand calculated. Its webmaster of13.5meters long,8.2meters wide,47.3metershigh, is divided into a total of10floors belonging to a high-transfer station. Itis currently seen in the literature of the highest transfer station in the world.Either static or dynamic vibration analysis has a certain degree of particularity.ANSYS software combined with construction steel structure designmethods, design specifications and design guidelines is used to do comparingcalculation with the limit of four simulated field conditions. Four conditionsare running at full capacity, emergency stop, down the storm and downtime.The main content of the comparison include the direction of the deformation ofthe lever member of the stress and the overall structure. Comparison based onthe level of tension on the belt conveyor impact of stress and deformation ofthe transfer station is the largest high-transfer station. After the adjustment onthe structure of the steel structure transfer station is made, it effectivelyreduces the stress and deformation.Modal analysis to observe whetherresonance may change it has been done. It can be concluded that the resonanceof the transfer station can not be caused by the rotation of the drum, but may becaused by the rotation of the roller.In this paper, it’s the first time to conduct a comprehensive analysis ofultra-high transfer station with actual working conditions. The structure hasbeen improved to increase the performance of transfer station.
