| Except for the advantages of light weight, green initiative, simple construction, higherstiffness and integrity in stressed laminated timber deck can be obtained due to introduction ofthe pre-stress technology, also it improves its deformation coordination. As the use of buttjoint,we can design the span as we want to improve the spanning capacity.It has a wide useabroad. A new type of light bridge deck from the point of view for developing and promotingnew types of deck was explored. Based on reading a large number of domestic and foreignliteratures, this paper mainly makes a research on section types, mechanics performance andthe butt joint reduction factor of the stress laminated timber deck, and main work and resultsare shown below:1)This paper introduces the structure details,construction process,design procedure anddesign example of the stress laminated timber deck,it can provide a valuable reference forfuture research.2)This paper compares the different computing methods of effective distribution widthDW and reduction factor for butt jointC Busing different standard in different countries,which lays foundation for further research.3)By comparing the different butt joint types,different butt joint frequency and differentpre-stress levels which have an influence on the longitudinal stiffness,it can befound that thebutt joints greatly decrease the longitudinal stiffness of the stress laminated timber deck,thehigher the frequency is,the lower the stiffness is, especially when it is at a low pre-stresslevel,the influence is so obvious.So we should pay a high attention in the design procedure.4)The research on the design method of the stress laminated timber deck was carried outin this study,the results can provide a reference for designer. |
