Application Of Vehicle-borne Mobile Scanning And Surveying Techniques In Highway Design

Rapid development of highway construction has brought greatopportunities to China’s economic development.At the same time, due to shortconstruction time, construction planning not considering comprehensively andother factors, many early economic developed area construction of highway hasentered the saturation, reduced the level of road service and affected theeconomic development along. To improve this situation, the large-scale highwayrenovation and expansion has become a hot in China’s highway construction,and the basic data needed just relying on the completion of materials is difficultto meet the requirements. Based on this, it is necessary to make full use of thenew surveying and mapping science and technology to get high precisionpavement spatial information data quickly with advanced mapping equipmentand computer software technology.On the basis of a detailed analysis of the function of each part of thevehicle mobile scanning system, this paper proposed multi-sensor synchronouscontrol and parameter calibration method, and realized the vehicle mobilescanning system integration and synchronization control. Based on POS integration technology, this paper also established laser scan data elevationadjustment correction model based on the control point, and proposed a dynamicposition and orientation, laser scanning and close-range photogrammetric datafusion algorithm, and explored modeling method based on laser scanningmeasurement of road surface models. And relying on extension project ofChangchun-Jilin Highway, car mobile scanning measurement model applicationverified the feasibility of research results.The application of vehicle-borne mobile scanning and surveyingtechnology in the renovation and expansion of highway not only greatlyshortened the period of the renovation and expansion of highway, but alsoimproved the safety of measuring jobs, and reduced the dangers of working onthe highway, and provided technical guidance for basic data collection of therenovation and expansion of highway.
