With China’s rapid economic development, the level of urbanization is in acceleration;the conflict between transportation supply and demand has become increasingly prominent. As a high-capacity and rapid transit, rail transit has achieved a large-scale development inrecent years. However, due to the high cost of rail transit, poor mobility and flexibility, itsrange of services has been restricted to a certain extent. Therefore, in order to play the keyrole of rail transit, it is essential to study the coordination transfer and convergence betweenrail transit and conventional bus, which is another important component of urban publictransport. The dissertation starts with the transfer influence factors of rail transit and conventionalbus. Then it introduces the evaluation indexes and discusses its scope by presenting transferfacility coordination, information interaction coordination and transfer convenience. Thedissertation lists the single indexes of transfer facility coordination, information interactioncoordination and transfer convenience, uses the correlation coefficient method to screen andconfirms the final evaluation index. The dissertation focuses on the evaluation model ofstation coordination transfer of rail transit and conventional bus, namely element model. Thenthe dissertation proceeds a multi-indicators comprehensive evaluation based on the matterelement model by applying the selected evaluation indexes. Finally, the dissertation takes theXiaozhai, Xi’an rail transit and bus transfer station as an example to obtain and analyze theevaluation results.
