Investigation On The Designs And Construction Method Of Country Raw Soil Residence

The large number of existing in service raw-soil building in the vast rural takes up acertain percentage in rural construction, mostly old buildings and the seismic performancewas poor. Although there are many good folk of construction process, most farmers buildhouses without law. The traditional raw-soil construction builds only by experience and theseismic performance cannot be assessed. Both new and existing houses pose safety hazardsmore or less. China’s current national standards are mainly aimed at city buildings. There is asmall amount of general regulation about rural construction in technical specification ofseismic. The special series of regulations in country building’s designs and constructiontechnology are blank. We will get the system of the designs and construction method ofcountry raw-soil residence through researching.Through the development of mass research, this article collects the typical representativedata of our rural residence, grasps the present situation, damage feature and the problems withhousing construction. With the study of building materials applied to our country, the authorputs forward some reasonable suggestions which are beneficial to improve the seismicperformance of country raw-soil building to provide the reference for the research applicationand construction of it. This article also makes suggestions to the designs and constructionmethod of building structure and components with theoretical analysis, experimental research,and engineering, in order to provide basic data to the complete sets of architectural andstructural design specifications, technical measures, manual and standard atlas.This paper concludes a set of designs and construction method of country raw-soilresidence to make the construction process standardization. It can provide guidance tobuilding, maintaining and consolidating of raw-soil structure. The result can provide referenceto the eleventh five-year national science and technology plan project "investigation on ruralresidential building design standard". It will be mainly used for engineering construction ofnational standard "rural residence design specification","rural raw-soil residence designmanual", and "rural residence design technology measures" related raw-soil structure.
