Study On The Residence Design Of The Fit Growth Market-town

As industrial revolution make social productivity grow rapidly, urbanization come with it. Nowadays urbanization in developed countries is changing from concentration to separation, but in China, it is much more complex. Most of the towns and counties in Chuanyu hilly lands are of low technique, small scale, weak function and inferior quality, which gravely hinder the development of Chuanyu district. Therefore, exploring a sustainable and healthy way for the development of these towns has become a must.The construction of market-town should pay most attention to residence, while there are many serious problems in nowadays Chuanyu hilly lands' residence construction. The most notable is that the organic system of market-town is gravely destroyed and lack of dynamism. Aiming at the problem, taking into consideration of the existing situation of Chuanyu hilly lands, based on system theory and the theory of organic time and space, this article proposes the mechanism of construction and the strategy of design for the market-town's residential building.There are 4 parts in the article.In the 1st part, we focus on Chuanyu hilly towns' present situation and problems, review the history of town's evolution, and point out that all the problems are result from the destruction of town's organic order and natural growth.In the 2nd part, we develop the concept of the fit growth. This section discusses the entire thought of following the routine of the natural and gradual growth method, grow by the prototype and humanism in the development of market-town. Based on system theory and organic times-pace view, we point out that the market-town could be regarded as an organism which continuously renew by itself, and it also should follow the natural law of growth.The 3rd part discusses the construction mechanism of market-town. The adjusting of construction mechanism include the government function, upgrading of plan method, selecting of construction way and intensifying of economic support.The 4th part is the most important part of this article: the residence design of market-town. Rooted in scientific development, we introduce design principle of residence which can foster the growth of market-town, and discuss the changing needs of inhabitants. Taking these changing needs for reference, we study on the evolvingmode of residence, so as to combine the evolvement of time and space. We also study the architectural system, terrain, regional material. At the same time, we introduce some design mode guided by architects with inhabitants participated and some supporting technique for it to further accomplish the implementing strategy that fit for the growth of market-town.
