Study On The Pavement Widen Of Freeway’s Reconstruction And Extension Engineerings

China’s early construction of the highway is mostly the main two-way four-lanehighway.With China’s economic development, traffic is growing rapidly in some areas,withserious traffic congestion,which affect road capacity and service levels.Therefore,some earlyhighway’s service levels and capacity can not meet the traffic demand.With the increase intraffic，we’d have to consider re-constructing the second channel orexpansiving to ease thegrowing tension traffic pressure.This paper,based on the projec Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao highway’s renovationand expansion project.Though the in-depth and targeted testing and scientific evaluation onthe road situation,we plan to propose a reasonable use of the road surface in the expansionproject.Of this study,provide relevant experience in the renovation and expansion project,This study does a large number of field research on road traffic conditions in the projectarea,analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of various Spell wide way, provide a strongdata support for the correct choice in the area of Pavement fight wide way; According toBeijing, Hong Kong and Macao highway’s Pavement status and Maintenance andrehabilitation history,through the evaluation of road situation and road surface diseaseanalysis, clearly the correct solution of the Expressway Extension; Though the analysis of oldand new pavement structure combination,provide the renovation and expansion, and thecorresponding pavement layer on Different sections; Undertaken extensive research and finiteelement analysis，to calculate the mechanical response of different lap width of the road,aswell as change load position of the road’mechanical properties,to arrive at a correct roadspliced form; Though the summary of the construction process,provide construction Notice ofthe roadbed spell wide.
