With the high-speed development of social economy, more and more large andmedium-sized city has begun to existing building for large-scale renovation and expansion,under the background of real estate demand bloomed splendidly, In the construction process,aerial work platform is essential facilities. However, in the high-altitude operations of theprocess, also used the portal frame, scaffold for construction elevator, derrick, and a varietyof simple lifting hoisting equipment, these equipment for high-altitude construction has madea great contribution, but with the passage of time, these devices malpractice also is exposed,the main performance is that layout and installation of the equipment need long set-up time,erection height limited, poor flexibility and high risk factor. Therefore, research anddevelopment of convenient, efficient, safe aerial work platform instead of the traditionalsimple aerial construction equipment has important practical significance, but also inresponse to the call of Good human and culture environment.This paper take the4leg of tall platform as an example, study the mechanism of levelingcontrol system, Key technology and implement measures for aerial work platform, at thesame time, According to the actual needs, design the aerial work platform, which adoptstechnologies of PLC and HYDRAULIC device. This paper mainly includes the following:This paper firstly established the static model and dynamics model for aerial workplatform, so as to make "cornerstone" for study, then analysis the dynamic and static balanceforce in each leg for aerial work platform, which pave the preliminary way. In addition, thispaper analysis the several common leveling methods in order to provide some the idea for theleveling algorithm design.Using BP network as aerial work platform’s leveling algorithm, through the matlabsimulation, we draw the following conclusions that aerial work platform system in variousenvironmental conditions of use, the system could easy to attain control effect and fastconvergence rate, which achieve the anticipated goal.Finally, through the system design principle, technical index and other factors, this paperresolved to adopt PLC as aerial work platform’s control core, the hydraulic transmission as the transmission mode, draw a set of system principle of work. At the same time in thesystem and the requirements of the current market system of key component analysis,completed the selection of components. In addition, designed the system software for aerialwork platform and the rigid model and using matlab simulation, verified the feasibility of thesystem.
