In recent years, the main battlefield of the highway projects in China extended to thecomplex geology of the region, and the highway tunnel projects along with more and more.The accidents happened frequently in the tunnel construction process, due to the particularityof the tunnel project, relatively speaking, rescue difficulty, time constraints, Once the accidentoccurred that likely to develop into a major accident disaster caused significant damage topeople’s lives and property.The purpose of this study is based on Internet of Things technology emergencycommand system for the tunnel project is to take advantage of the Internet of Thingscomprehensive sense, the characteristics of reliable transmission, intelligence assistance, toimprove the efficiency of the tunneling works security monitoring and emergency response,reducing the probability of occurrence of the incident and scale, reducing the losses whichcaused by accident.This article describes the key technologies of the Internet of Things applications in theemergency command areas of the tunnel project and analysis of key factors of the tunnelproject safety and emergency response required to determine the impact of tunnelconstruction safety and emergency command key is to tunnel officer detection, and videoimages, and analysis to design a functional structure and hierarchy of the two subsystems, andachieve the hardware and software system. On this basis, combined with existing databasesystems, analysis of the data which needed to support emergency command of the tunnelproject, proposed the emergency command system framework of the tunnel project, and has adetailed description of the system structure and features, emergency command of the tunnelproject IntelliSense, smart transmission, intelligent processing, and intelligent decision.Finally, a combination of Shanxi Xishan long tunnel construction safety applicationexamples of intelligent management system, detected by physical works, verify that theemergency command system of the tunnel project and the establishment of the tunnel projectemergency response command process, so that the emergency command work would moreefficiency.The main value of this paper is related technologies applied research through the Internet of things, so that the tunnel project security monitoring and emergency command moreintelligent, quick reference for transportation construction industry in China, also made for theInternet of Things technology development contribution.
