Subgrade is the starting point of the road structure and bears the traffic load passed fromthe pavement, and its compaction quality is directly related to the strength and stability of thepavement, so the subgrade must be dense, uniform and stable. In our country, vibratory rolleris the main equipment for the subgrade compaction, and the degree of compaction is thestandards to judge the quality of compacted subgrade, so researches on influence of degree ofcompaction caused by compaction construction parameters and compaction technology ofvibratory roller has an important practical significance to road construction.The factors that affect the subgrade degree of compaction can be divided into threecategories: compacted material, compaction equipment and compaction technology. But in theconcrete construction process, because of the different compacted object, compactiontechnologies are also different. According to the research on construction site of the loesssubgrade, wind-blown sand subgrade and the stone subgrade and some relevant information,compaction technology was summarized and the main control parameters of compaction arebasically identical. In the main compaction parameters, the amplitude, frequency and rollingspeed were the main research in this paper. In order to research the influence caused by thedifferent levels of these three object to the degree of compaction, an orthogonal experimentwhich takes20t single drum vibratory roller as compaction equipment, the loess as materialsand the degree of compaction as index is designed. Firstly the experimental results werevariance analysis, we can conclude which factor effected the degree of compaction most.Then from, the optimal scheme of experiment was determined, and by the regression analysisof the trends, we knew that the linear relationship existed between the degree of compactionand the amplitude, frequency and rolling speed.At last, combining the linear relationship between the degree of compaction and theamplitude, frequency, rolling speed, the regress function in MATLAB statistics toolbox wasused to establish the multiple regression model between the degree of compaction and thethree factors. And the regression model was verified by other experiment, so as to providecertain guiding significance for the selection of roller in the subgrade construction.
