| In recent years, the Chinese railway systems have gone through amassive phase of upgrading and expansion. More and more the ChineseCRH(China Rail-way High-speed) has been used for dedicated passengerlines. It is estimated that by the end of2020, China will have18000kmdedicated passenger lines, with an operating speed of350km/h which willcover most areas of the whole country. The Chinese CRH consists ofEMUs(Electric Multiple Units), which include motor coaches and trailercoaches where the driving force of the CRH is distributed. Distributed powerbrings a lot of controlling questions. We propose an optimization solutionwhich include building a longitudinal dynamics model and designing apredictive controller.Based on the existing model of the high speed train, we build a newlongitudinal dynamics model, and research some common control strategiesfor the high speed train, which is a foundation for the succeeding work oncontroller design and numerical simulation.Based on the introduction of the common force analysis of the high speed train, we propose a nonlinear longitudinal dynamics model for normalhigh speed train by analysising the CRH2with eight coaches. We introduce alinearization technique for the nonlinear model. By using the linearizationtechnique, we get a linear model on which we design a predictive controller. The simulation results on MATLAB show the predictive controller is feasibleon the high speed train. The network load is large and that is difficult to be applied in theengineering practice based on the global object function. We adjustpredictive control algorithm form two ways such as: one is that we amendthe object function by using the local object function instead of the globalobject function that each subsystem has an optimizing target; the other one iswe propose a neighbourhood object function considering the interrelationshipbetween subsystems. The simulation results on MATLAB show that aneighbourhood object function is better than local object function on the highspeed train.Based on the MATLAB/Simulink, we can build a simulation platformfor high speed train with the SIMPACK interface. On the platform we canrealize the3D visual simulation to testify some algorithms. |
