The Application Of Polyethylene Glycol Oil In Worm Gear

Currently, polyethylene glycol oil for worm gear have existed for many years, hasbecome the main worm gear oil abroad, but at home, most of plants still are using mineraloil or synthetic hydrocarbon oil, using polyethylene glycol oil little.Base on the tribology theory, analyzing the characteristics of the worm gear and thecharacteristics of mineral oil, synthetic hydrocarbon oil and polyethylene glycol oil. Baseon the result of test, comparing the ability of three kinds of lubricants in temperature,efficiency and resistance to abrasion, and the lubricant performance of bearing in wormgear box, besides that, according to cost analysis, to prove the advantages of polyethyleneglycol oil using in worm gear, in order to improve the using quantity of polyethyleneglycol oil in the country.The test results show that polyethylene glycol oil has large advantages in temperature,efficiency, and resistance to abrasion, even in Cost-effective.The results of this study is very useful in improving the using quantity ofpolyethylene glycol oil in the country...
