| It is an effective way to improve the transmission efficiency of worm to explore and reseach the new type of worm structure which replaces the sliding friction with rolling friction. This paper has conducted a preliminary study of the ball globoid worm. The main contents are as follows.First,the paper has introduced several designs of worm struction which mainly depends on rolling friction and has compared comprehensively the features of the worm structure forms. The resulits show that the ball globoid worm gear driving device (BGWGDD) has more developable values.Secondly,the paper has studied the category of BGWGDD at present.The results show that the carrying power of BGWGDD is smaller and has the problem that the cycle of balls is sluggish, compared with the traditional worm.Moreover,the worm and worm wheel gear surface equation of the BGWGDD are established by using the principle of conjugation of curved surface. Two kinds of border curve are also deduced. The paper has estimated the transmission efficiency of BGWGDD and has deduced the necessary parameters for the design of BGWGDD.Finally, On the basis of the calculation method of ball screw and angular contact ball bearing and Theory of Lundberg-Palmgren,the paper has studied the bearing capacity of BGWGDD. Based on genetic algorithm, the paper has optimized the design parameters. It is more effective to raise the bearing capacity of BGWGDD. |
