With Chinese automobile industry development, the market is becoming morecompetition, interior parts manufacturing has entered a meager profit age.This Thesis mainly studies on side Air conditioning vent of BP51project in theNingbo TRW Corporation to optimize production processes and shorten the assembly time,which leading to the assembly line costs reduced.The main work focus on customer orders goal, using both hands operation analysis,concluding assembly process, using the principles of motion economy, reducing thenumber of gestures, using dynamic pheromone research, introducing tooling forassembling, improve the process of assembly and process of the efficiency, paintingprocess flow diagram, using”5W1H”,” ECRS” and other tools and methods to find outthe idle process and bottleneck, then optimize these process, in order to achieve assemblyprocess balance, as the assembly workers and assembly cost have been reduced to3people,this project reduce the cost a lot.Finally, form the standard operation procedure, standard operation time and mainquality control point in every process to coach the workers. This optimize method whichapply in all air vents assembly lines reduce the operation cost of the whole plant.
