Electric measuring instrument is widely used in different fields of test. Due to itsmultiple functions, wide range, different characteristics, a lot of requirements arebrought forward to the Electric calibrator for testing electric measuring instrument.Because of the advantages of convenient operation, high work efficiency, thecalibrating device based on the calibrator gets more and more extensive use at work.However, the technical defects such as less parameter, low output power and current,the low accuracy and the stability, the current calibrator is difficult to meet the testrequirements.The main research contents are as follows:Based on the actual testing work, the analysis of the advantages anddisadvantages of the domestic and foreign calibrator, Combined with nationalregulation of verification, studies have been made, in this thesis, on the designrequirements of the calibrator such as expanding the range of current and power,improving accuracy and stability, improving the load capacity, improving the DCripple, etc. At the same time the calibrator need to meet the operation convenienceand reliability for the practical measurement.According to the design requirements, studies have been done on the keytechniques of the calibrator, such as the digital-analog hybrid control scheme,improving the load capacity scheme, the calibrator-load matching scheme, the gearconfiguration scheme and the high precision sampling circuit design etc. As a result,that is design and development about the calibrator adapt to the metrologicalverification work.Tests and verifications have been made on the various technical specificationsand the metrological performance of the calibrator, such as the accuracy of the output,the short-term stability, load regulation, power regulation, ripple voltage, waveformdistortion etc, which confirmed its ability and qualification for the metrologicalcalibration and value transfer standard.Finally, studies have been made on the analysis of the evaluation of uncertaintyand the uncertainty verification of each parameter by general instruments. The calibrator adapted to the domestic electrical instrument and the nationalregulation will have broad application prospects for its high performance, highreliability, easy operation and multiple functions, multiple parameter characteristics.
