Research Of Automatic Detection Equipment For Analog Measuring Instrument

Analog instrumentations are very common measuring instruments in the application of industry area, these instruments need high precision check and measure in the pre-production. The theory of roboticized detection of the analog instrument readings about system design put forward as early as the end of the 1990s inland. As the analog instrument in a variety of industrial being produced and used, exploitation and design of the products have been seen in academic journals and schools Industry at the scene. The vast majority of detection system products make use of collecting dial images, with image processing and computer vision, which can achieve fast, reliable and accurate detected in domestic and overseas, but because of their precision components and the CPU as the core, the system is expensive and large, the application is limited.In this project, a automatic device of detecting a type of analog measuring instruments designed with the DSP control core for the convenience of the detection work of the analog instrumentations, and it has finished such basic components such as Dial Imaging Unit, Signal Collect of the Dial Image Unit, Analog Measuring Instruments Pointer Showing the Location and Value Unit and Base Signal Output Unit. These units including analog measuring instrument under detecting and the location and choice of lens,the image sensors capture images--using the strong developing, fast processing speed DSP chip as core to do the image processing work which use image processing algorithms.( There are many advantages of image processing use the programmable DSP chip than the others, and programmable and a strong ability of the chip can be used to quickly achieve a variety of digital signal processing algorithms, it has become the best choice for image processing),and DAC is one of the commonly DSP peripherals used, which make conversion of digital signal to analog signal.In my design, machine vision is still on top choice from hardware point of view, make use of digital signal processors as the core processing systems with special dial indicator detected software can quickly and easily achieve the same task results, and in this paper, the analogy instrument dial induced these contents from all parts of the requirements and designing and debugging. By digital image processing technology with computer programming language, the automatic device can realize the whole work through experimentation.
