Experimental Study on cement concrete with rubber powder form the treated waste tirehas been one of the research hotspot. On the one hand, environmental pollution problems ofwaste tire could are solved and the performances of cement concrete with rubber powder areimproved. The previous research proved that as a new material in concrete field, the cementconcrete with rubber powder has properties of large damping, low elastic modulus, goodtenacity, good depleting energy and perfect ability of holding back crack. Now much progressin studying of properties of rubberized concrete have been made, but to the influence law andmechanism of properties of rubberized concrete, there is not a unified standard in the world atpresent. this paper studied concrete sample mixed with rubber powder size of30mesh,40mesh,60mesh rubber powder by discarded tires,by using a method of identical volume sandsubstitutes. In addition, the working performance of rubberized concrete with different rubberpowder size and admixture amounts, the basic mechanical properties of concrete sample(Including cubic compressive strength, bending strength, splitting tensile strength andcompressive elastic modulus) and the durability of concrete (ability to resist chloride ionpenetration) are tested and studied. The influence of rubber powder size and admixtureamounts on rubberized concrete is analyzed. ANSYS software is used to simulate based onexperiment.The following conclusions be obtained:(1)The basic mechanical properties of concrete isthe main index of structure design. according to experimental data of concrete with differentrubber powder size and admixture amounts, the upper limit value of admixture amounts ofrubber powder is30%, otherwise strength requirement is satisfied.(2)The elastic modulus isincreasing with the increase of admixture amounts of rubber powder, which is given in theelastic modulus experiment.(3)The resist chloride ion test of rubberized concrete shows that the ability to resist chloride ion penetration is obviously higher as the increase of admixtureamounts of rubber powder in the rubber powder size of30mesh,40mesh,60mesh,respectively.(4) ANSYS software is used to analyze cubic compressive strength, splittingtensile strength and axial compressive strength. The simulation value is credible comparedwith the experimental value and the established model is reasonable. It offers some referenceand guidance function for the study of rubberized concrete.(5) The synthetic operation, basicmechanical properties and are studied and durability performance test are analyzed andevaluated in the optimum proportion of rubberized concrete with the rubber powder size of30mesh and30%admixture amounts of rubber powder.
