| The capacitor pulse power supply is an important part of the high magnetic fieldexperimental device in our Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center, it is modular indesign, and every component is required to be compact and standard to make the circuittopology and the control system simple and effective. The whole system is easy to expandand maintain while enjoying high reliability and low cost.The switching elements are essential parts of the capacitor pulse power supply. Thehigh voltage relay can control the closing and breaking of the charging and dischargingcircuits while withstanding25kV voltage; the high voltage disconnecting switch is capableof switching circuits, choosing different output circuits. This thesis mainly focuses on themaking of switching elements which have rigorous demands in the safety, reliability,compactness and economy.The operating principle of the high voltage electromagnetic relay is analyzed in detailin this thesis; all aspects of performance of the relay are optimized considering the settingof the parameters, the selection of the materials for the components and the improvement ofthe structure. The cost is reduced which achieving all the required functions, the security ofthe product is verified by various tests.The traditional control device of the disconnecting switch has the followingdisadvantages: its size is large; its structure is complex; it is difficult to be allocated withina little space. The high voltage disconnecting switch designed in this thesis has goodcontrollability. The control unit has fast response, high accuracy, and is capable of closingor disconnecting the relay reliably at the scene or at the distance. The disconnecting switchcontrol units are modularized utilizing a microchip to be a small control box, convenient forinstallation and operation. The control room and the control units are connected by opticalfibers to exchange messages, ensuring the security and high reliability of the whole system. |
