In recent years, with the flourishing development of high-rise buildings, as thebuilding function requirements at the bottom of several floors, the vertical load at theupper structure of small bay should be transferred to the bottom structure of the largespace only by the structural transfer member. In order to overcome this structural adverseeffect, a transfer story at structure should be set between the upper and lower part of thestory, that what we call the” frame supported shear wall” which is soft at the bottom andrigid at the upper. As the higher social requirements of building function, many framesupported shear wall structures with transfer story get much higher, and many of themexceed the national code restrictions. For this kind of structure, traditional design methodhas become not applicable. So as to have a better study on the seismic performance of thiskind of complex high-rise building, this text combines with the engineering practice, according to the specification of the seismic design based on performance requirements, using PKPM-SATWE finite element analysis software to study on the structureperformance according to the determined seismic performance goals. This paper mainly studies for two aspects: according to the rules and regulations ofperformance-based seismic design request, use the finite element analysis method to studyon the earthquake response of the frame supported shear wall structures; then throughmodel adjustment, change some key parameters to study the influence of structure withhigh transfer story seismic performance. The main research contents include the followingrespects:1. Combined with the engineering practice, according to fortification intensity, siteconditions, building height, complexity and so on, study on the seismic performance goals, clear the seismic performance level of important structural members; calculate andanalyse the dynamic characteristics of the structure and internal force and displacement, check the structure seismic performance goal whether is realized.2. Combined with the engineering practice, according to several frame supportedshear wall structures which’s transfer story are set at different, analyse the dynamiccharacteristics of the model and seismic response, judge the structure whether exists aweak layer, evaluate the influence of the structural seismic performance target resulted bythe height of transfer story.3. for the frame supported shear wall structures with high transfer story, by adjustingthe shear walls size which are upon and below the transfer story, study on structuralseismic performance under different equivalent lateral stiffness ratio...
