The Study Of Highway Vehicle To Infrastructure Communication System Based On WSN

Highway communication system is a basis factor of intelligent traffic information system,which ensures information transmission of highway monitoring system and highway tollcollection system，it also plays a role as the main technical means to realize modernization ofhighway operation management. WSN technology owns the advantages as follows: low cost，low consumption， easy network etc, which makes it performs good in wirelesscommunication and data transmission.A design named the study of highway vehicle to infrastructure communication systembased on WSN is put forward in this paper after analyzing the current situation of highwaycommunication system of China. The intelligent traffic communication network includesInternet and wireless sensor network and is divided into four parts top-down. Thecommunication network between communication center and communication branch center，communication branch center and communication station belongs to the Internet, to make upfor the transmission distance limit of WSN. The rest of the communication network belongsto the WSN, to make full use of the point-blank transmission of WSN. The communicationmechanism and functionality of the four-layer network are researched.Besides to fulfill the assignment of the information transmission between every network,highway vehicle to infrastructure communication system can also location the end point node.This paper adopted a positioning algorithm based on WSN and RSSI, which can realizeaccurate and quick position of end point node. Also collision avoidance alarm system andtime synchronization are studied in the paper. The achievement of star network and meshnetwork based on WSN proves superiority of WSN than ad-hoc network. The differentbetween other communication systems is that the vehicle to infrastructure communicationsystem extrudes the communication between vehicle and infrastructure.Making WSN applied to the highway intelligent traffic communication network provideda new direction of developing the intelligent traffic system, expanded the scope of applicationof WSN technology and promoted the theoretical study of WSN technology.
