With the development of economy, we need more and more transportation. Inorder to adapt to the requirements of transportation development, We need toconstruct large span bridge, in which the steel arch bridge as the bridge, which has beenwidely used. Steel arch bridge would be harmony with the local natural environmentand have a good visual effect, which unique structure has won wide praise. One of the construction method large span steel arch bridge which is the rotaryconstruction method, The most important is to ensure that the construction processstability. As the main load-bearing component of the lifting tower, from the strength, rigidity and stability of three aspects, and the most important is to ensure its stability. In this paper, through the establishment of finite element model, separately from thelifting tower position, lifting point arrangement, the dorsolateral funiculus of theinitial force and slide lateral connections are arranged in the form of the above factors,we research on the structure stability, find out the factors on the stability of structure, and put forward the measures for enhancing stability, after construction with a usefulreference. Finally, through the Hutuo River Bridge, after simplifying structure, establishingthe finite element model, the calculation results, comparative analysis, structureoptimization and stability coefficient, the optimized structure of stability coefficientmeet regulatory requirements, to ensure construction safety needs, thus the researchresults verification, proved the above rule is correct. The results of this study will be to large span steel arch bridge design, constructionand provide the certain reference.
