In recent years,with the rapid growth of China’s highway mileage and volume ofroad passenger transportation,road traffic safety has gradually became an important is-sue which draws the whole society’s concern.As tourist buses,school buses,shuttle bu-ses serious and even extraordinarily serious accidents happened frequently,people sh-ould pay great attention to and constantly consider the commercial motor-vehicles ofpassenger transport safety problem.In these accidents,rollover is the most notoriouswhich causes serious personnel dead and injured in groups extremely easily.Thisarticle aims at researching on the hot spot in academia which we call the rollover stab-ility of commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport,comprehensively analyzesits basic features;puts forward a rollover combined yaw control strategy by differenti-al braking mode;and verifies the control algorithm by a automobile dynamic simulati-on software.The main research work of this dissertation can be concluded as follows:1.We firstly establish the parametric bus model based on TruckSim,simulate andanalyze it in several typical working conditions on above basis,and systematicallyilluminate the effect on the rollover stability of bus from vehicle driving parameterschange.2.According to the basic principle of rollover and its relationship with vehicle driving parameters,we deduce a linear three degrees of freedom rollover referencemodel and a linear two degrees of freedom "bicycle" model,and study on a simplexanti-rollover control strategy and a rollover combined yaw control strategy bydifferential braking mode.3.Through the TruckSim and Matlab/Simulink joint simulation method,thisdissertation contrastively analyzes these two controllers’ effect in several typicalworking conditions.Simulation results show:the rollover combined yaw controlalgorithm can prevent the bus rollover accident,and avoid the driving path deviationproblem caused by differential braking to a certain extent.
