With the rapid development of our country’s economy and transportation, the automobile has become one of indispensable traffic tools in people’s life. However, at the same time there will bring out many security stability problems, especially heavy vehicles with characteristics of higher center of gravity, larger volume and quality, relatively smaller wheel track and so on, are much easier to lead to rollover accidents in the process of driving, causing huge property losses and casualties. Therefore, rollover stability of heavy vehicles has been widespread concern in the domestic and international scholars and automobile manufacturers.Based on previous studies, with a heavy commercial vehicle as the research object, the author has carried on the beneficial exploration to control the rollover stability, and the main contents of specific studies are as follows:Firstly, the root cause of vehicle rollover is obtained by researching and analyzing the rollover stability mechanism and based on the mechanism, the three-DOF vehicle model is established. The rollover model is simulated with the Snake-like and Fishhook, two kinds of typical conditions, and the results show that the model is very accurate and could fairly reflect the actual dynamic characteristics of vehicle.Secondly, by summing up and contrasting to the previous studies, LTR is determined as the rollover index and a rollover prediction system based on TTR is developed to warn the driver to take appropriate measures. According to theoretical analysis and actual situation,|LTR|≥0.9is determined as the rollover condition to trigger anti-rollover control system.What’s more, additional yaw moment is got with fuzzy control algorithm, We put the deviation between the LTR and the ideal value and the change rate of the deviation as input while put optimal compensation yawing moment as output, and then distribute the additional yaw moment to the wheel with best braking efficiency on the basis of braking force distribution strategy. The Anti-rollover control system is designed based on the rollover warning algorithm.Finally, the Fishhook and Steering wheel sine input, two kinds of typical conditions are selected, through the co-simulation of Trucksim and Matlab/Simulink, the results show that the Anti-rollover control system could greatly improve the rollover and yaw stability of the vehicle,ensuring the driving stability of the vehicle. |
