With the rapid development and progress of domestic deck pavement technology, epoxyasphalt is used in a variety of deck pavement constantly as a new material, and has made gooduse of effects and economic benefits. The existing researches and practices show that epoxyasphalt mixture has higher strength and toughness, better temperature stability, water stability,anti-fatigue performance and anti-corrosion property than conventional asphalt mixture. Thispaper selects Japan epoxy asphalt and domestic epoxy asphalt used in cement concrete deckpavent as the objects of study.By the the tensile test, the DSR and BBR test, the article studies and compares thematerial composition, tensile property, high temperature performance and anti-crackperformance in low temperature systematically between Japan and domestic epoxy asphalt,meanwhile evaluating the impact that epoxy resin content has on Japan epoxy asphalt binderperformance. Based on the property of asphalt binder, according to Marshalltest method andcharacters of epoxy asphalt mixture, air void is put forward as control index to designsatisyfing mixture. Meanwhile, Combining with engineering needs, the paper studies thegrowth law of the concrete’s strength and the impact of time and temperature parameters onepoxy asphalt viscosity and air void and strength of the mixture, then proposes reasonableconstruction control and curing recommendations in accordance with test results. Finally, thisarticle discusses pavement performance comparatively between Japan epoxy asphalt mixtureof different resin content and domestic epoxy asphalt mixture, including strength property,temperature stability, water stability, anti-fatigue property, anti-sliding and anti-permeatingproperty. With the actual requirements of deck pavement, the combination material conductshigh temperature rutting test. In addition, the impact of asphalt type on Japan epoxy asphaltperformance is discussed simply. This article makes a comprehensive performance study andevaluation for epoxy asphalt material, providing a theoretical basis and technical support forthe use of Japan and domestic epoxy asphalt on concrete bridge deck pavement.
