The Development And Utilization Management Of Portable Railway Intelligent Vehicle Wheelload Instrument

Railway cargo transport plays an important role in the national economy, butoverloading, partial load and the particulars tress of vehicles in the transport process posea serious threat to the safety of railway, which can be measured by a special railwaymeasuring device: wheel load instrument. It is small and portable, can be used in theloading point to measure the truck loading condition to prevent the overloading andpartial loading from happeningat the initial stage. Domestically, hand-pressed mechanicalwheel load instrument are widely used，but such early invention fails to function normallydue to the several drawback, therefore the measurement at the loading point remainsto beblank. To solve this problem, the unit I work in proposed to develop a new type ofportable intelligent wheel load instrument, with high accuracy, convenience of operation,and the availability to meet the needs of measurement.This thesis introduced the manufacture, the instruction of measuring and the on-siteapplication of the portable smart wheel load instrument. The instrument functions andtechnical parameters of the wheel load are verified through the environmental testing andthe metrological verification. This product is composed mainly by mechanical measuringcomponents, pressure sensors, data acquisition and control circuit.Fast and accuratemeasurement is conducted through the use of micro-motor-driven measured. After thecontinuous efforts of the project team, the new products have passed the special railwaymetering appliances certification of the Railway Bureau in the country and are alreadywidely used, thereby achieving the purpose of the project team to developea validmeasurement equipment for the security of national railway cargo transportation.
