The center of Kunming railway bureau, Kunming East Marshalling Station, is playing an important part in the Railway Network as one of the49marshalling stations of the national railway system. For a long time, equipment is out of date and capacity of stations has mismatched those of railway line, which leads to wagon flow blockage, poor efficiency and unsafe situation.Based on the situation of Kunming East Marshalling Station and relevant research at home and abroad, the writer adapts dissipative structure and the theory of entropy to the analyses of wagon flow blockage, further studies the five subsystems, establishs the mathematical models to work out ten countermeasures and the characteristics of critical region. Also, the writer establishes the quantitative evaluation index to judge the efficiency of wagon flow organization and the countermeasures, combining the quantization of system entropy with analytic hierarchy process (AHP).Through implementation, and the test countermeasures during the organization of wagon flow at Kunming East Marshalling Station, the writer analyses the related data proving that the models of dissipative structure and the theory of entropy are accurate. The opportunity of countermeasures are well taken. The conclusion demonstrates that it is an effective method for optimized organization, scientific decision and fine management of Marshalling Station.
