Research On The Youth Activity-focused Auto Design

Automobile industry is a great part of civil economic. Auto plays a very important role in people’s daily lives as a transporting tool. Many facts such as human-machine interaction、the situation of transporting system and the scenario at the particular time do have impact in the process of car using. To provide a better service to our community, a tentative exploration of user activity research is quite of necessity. The activity-based car use model has been constructed. By analyzing the pattern of car, activities will be analyzed and the car use patterns can be classified.As a part of the product system, product does n’t work alone. Product system includes product、technology、person、scenario. The theory of User-centered Design (UCD) has been introduced to industry design since1980s. Traffic system is an complicate relm. Encountered with the real-time transporting issues, people take different tactics according to the situation. An exquisite associate analysis of user divided and scenario will provides significant information, so we could do better. By analyzing the existing market of cars and youth lifestyle, importing the study of behavior pattern into design, we could know our customer better, and provide various service and products.At the meantime of bring advantages to our lives, cars can be inconvenient.In the this article, I will focus on the behaviors of user instead of the diversity of consumers.By the methods of Activity-focused、observation of scenario and interviews, we conduct this research.This article follows these steps:introducing the UCD method briefly,Activity-focused method,youth user demands summarizing, user activity data collecting and automobile design process combined with user activity research at last. Hoping with the fundamental understanding of user behavior, we can find a innovative method as a guidance in the process of dealing with cars.
