With the rapid development of power electrions, the variablefrequency converter with its advantages of low power and high efficency inthe industry is used more and more widely. Variable frequency converter asa classic power electronic devices, the output contains rich voltage andcurrent harmonics, and it has an adjustable frequency and speed rangecharacteristics, its performance directly affects the reliability and stabilityof the whole system, so the needs of its performance testing is more andmore attention, indicating the great significance of the research on variablefrequency converter electrical parameters measurement.The paper reviews the current research and application of the variousdomestic and international sampling technique and electric parametermeasurement algorithm so far, according to the output characteristics ofvariable frequency converter; it advances the overall design scheme withDSP and FPGA hardware core, using the new type of AD chip and effectivealgorithm to control implementation. Compared with the traditionalinstruments designed for power frequency, the system can solve the widerange and fast changes problem of the output in the measurement.The paper first studied a variety of sampling methods of measurement,and then uses the synchronous sampling techniques. In order to filter outthe unnecessary high harmonics, accurately measure the frequency, thesystem builded FIR digital filter model based on the Hanning window; Tomeasure the harmonics of variable frequency converter, paper analysed avariety of harmonic algorithm for variable frequency converter harmonicmeasurement and analysis, after comprehensive consideration using the fastFourier transform harmonic analysis. And based on Fourier transform,improved methods and other electrical parameter measurement algorithmwere correspondingly proposed, through MATLAB programming, verifiedthe correctness and validity of the algorithm.According to the oretical analysis and practical qualifications, thepaper desiged the measurement system with TMS320F2812and FPGA,combined with the16-bit new AD chip, we reached a preliminary measurement purpose. Combined with design schematics of the principlesof each module running, the focus of analysis to analyze the FPGA timingcontrol function, and gives the design procedures and simulation resultsbased on the VHDL and Verilog HDL language. The combination ofschematic diagram of the principle of each module is running, the focus ofanalysis of the FPGA timing control block, and gives the design proceduresand simulation results based on the VHDL and Verilog HDL language. Thesystem was compared in the laboratory experiments. Preliminary verifiedthe correctness and feasibility of the system design. Finally, from theperspective of the optimization of the system error, hardware and softwaredebugging and other strategies are provided.
