In recent years, with the rapid development of the national economic construction, China’s infrastructures have been expanding. More and more projects need prestressed concrete pipe pile foundation to meet the requirements of the bearing capacity and deformation to the building (structure) and to ensure the safe and proper use of the building (structures). At present, China’s construction industry has not studied on the theoretical basis of the Prestressed Concrete Piles, the basic theory of seismic design, and computational methods, especially less in the study of the seismic performance.This paper studies the internal force distribution of the pile under the earthquake based on shaking table model test research. It will promote the development and progress of the concrete pipe pile and has an important theoretical significance and social value.This paper studies the seismic properties of prestressed pipe pile through prestressed pipe pile foundation shaking table model test. During the testing, the pipe pile-soil-structure models in the different seismic waves are tested. Piles pile stress, strain, and the distribution of bending moment along the pile are analyzed in order to determine the maximum bending moment of the pile location. The internal forces, seismic intensity and seismic response of prestressed pipe pile in different site and different levels of earthquake are obtained. This paper analyzes and summarizes prestressed pipe pile, pile cap force, failure characteristics and pipe piles response law under earthquake to provide a more scientific and rational basis for the prestressed pipe pile designing for future.Based on, the similar simulation test of vibration model, this subject is the following key findings:1、In the model test conditions, Bending moment, axial force generated by the strain variation of the distribution along the pile is basically the same. The Pile moment of maximum position is at the distance of5to6times the pile diameter from the top of the pile. Changes in the top of the pile bending moment in the distance about20times the pile diameter is at stabilized.2、Around the shock wave effect, with the increase of the peak acceleration away from the pile head5to6times the pile diameter at strain also increased.3、Backstopping prototypes:The maximum moment position of pipe pile is about the distance from pile top250mm-300mm (5to6times the pile diameter). This section directly determines the pipe pile is in normal working condition and also is the dangerous section of pipe piles in seismic design. Here strengthened reinforced or made earthquake-proof measures and strengthened reinforced must be taken measure in this area.
