Hydraulic impactor is the auxiliary machinery for engineering machinery, whichis widely used in the construction of infrastructure, like railway, highway, waterconservancy and mining industry. The performance parameters of the impact is animportant symbol of judging the quality of the hydraulic impact.It has an importantmeaning to do some further research on the performance parameters and optimize them. Itcan improve efficiency to make it more effective used in construction by improving theperformance t and promoting the quality of the hydraulic impact.Some previous theories and methods of measuring the performance parametersof hydraulic impactor are summarized and their advantages and disadvantages arecompared in this paper. On this basis, the impact force method is used as the basic methodof performance measueement system of hydraulic impactor, by which the performanceparameters of the hydraulic impact can be measured from the external of it, so it do notneed too much attention to the internal structure. The measurement process is simplified,and the work state of the impactor can accurately de reflected.In the traditional measurement system, the operators work intensity, but themeasurement efficiency and accuracy are low. In order to solve the above drawbacks, thevirtual instrumentation technology is applied in the measurement system in this paper anda set of performance measurement system based on virtual instrument is designed. Themeasurement system makes use of the unique advantages of virtual instrument, such as theeconomy, flexibility, scalability and maintainability, and so on, combined with thecharacteristics of the hydraulic hammer, to achive the measurement to the performanceparameters of the hydraulic impact.Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the the performance measurementsystem of hydraulic impact are verified by experiment. This measurement system can beused for the factory inspection of the performance of some hydraulic impact, while it has some significance for the optimization of the hydraulic impact.
