Steel plate-concrete composite strengthening technique is a new technique base on Steel plate and concrete composite beams. The research in this area has not been in expected depth. Strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique is produced by welding stud on the steel plate and arranging a certain amount of steel bars on the surface of the original reinforced concrete, so that the original reinforced part and steel plate form the whole composite component and work together. The purpose of this study is to establish the design formula of stud in composite structure. Based on the conversion section theory, the strengthened part of composite structure is simplified into a kind of structure which is composed by only one kind of equivalent material and its physical property is similar to the original. In addition, the simplified model is obtained by mechanical analysis of the composite structures with steel plate and stud. Then through the application of elasticity theory method, the static equilibrium is carried out on the integrated structure and so the shear capacity in stud of connectors is obtained. This references to the relevant literature and analyzes data, It is proved that it has a certain rationality. This study contains the following three main areas:①The theoretical formula of stud connectors in strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique. This analyzes the ultimate carrying capacity of stud connectors in strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique by the simplified formula. We compared the calculated value of studs by the simplified formula to the calculated value of studs by the calculated formula in code for design of Steel (GB50017-2003), which is obtained to identify the data variation.②The finite element simulation of stud connectors in strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique. Under the action of the concentrated force, the program analyzes the nonlinear mechanical properties of Studs in the model using ANSYS10.0, and then, this analyzes the mechanical properties of stud connectors and deformation of steel and concrete. Around slip plane and stud connectors.③The theoretical analysis of stud connectors in strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique. In this paper, some of elements in ANSYS10.0demonstrate the feasibility of simulating the prototype, which can interpret to mechanical properties of beams flexural strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique and slippage between steel and reinforced concrete.Calculated method, which is proposed in this article about the bearing capacity of stud connectors in strengthened using steel plate-concrete composite technique, has provided the theoretical basis and reference value for revision of relevant technical specifications.
