Wu River is one main branches of Yangtze River upstream. Simultaneously the Wu River basin minerals are rich, is one richest region about the minerals in our country southwest. However the Wu River basin highway classification is low, the state of roads was bad, has decided the water transportation to be main status in the Wu river basin. Construct the Yangtze River upstream economic center strategy along with the central western big development strategy, as well as will construct Chongqing Yangtze River upstream shipping center the plan, the Wu River basin trade and the foreign trade demand the water transportation increasingly day by day. Therefore, the Wu River basin section of river obstructs the navigation analysis and the regulation research has the very important theory significance and the production practical significance.This article mainly unified the western traffic science and technology projects of Department of transportation Below’White Tao section of Wu river complex beach groups channel regulation research’. Take White Tao section of Wu river complex beach groups as the object of study, On the basis of Navigation obstruction mechanism, Plan beach groups’regulation and contrast plans. The primary coverage is as follows:(1) This article introduced the complex beach groups river course survey about White Tao section of Wu River exhaustively, through the related actual material which collected had understood the goal beach group waters’hydrology, the silt characteristic, the beach group’s history will evolve, the near future to evolve and the evolution tendency, the study analysis obtains the change origin of this beach group channel and obstructs the navigation mechanism.(2) Refers to the Riverbed evolution about white Tao section of Wu River and channel regulation, summarized the beach group river analysis method:Firsthand information collection, theoretical analysis, mathematics and physical model experimental study. Target-oriented to the beach group river course proposed that a series of regulation plans, through the physical model experiment confirmation, contrasts each improvement plan’s advantages and disadvantages, optimizing beach group regulation plan.(3) To further confirm the regulation plan, carries on Bed load sediment test according to the optimization plan. Obtained the optimization plan had improved the shoal group river course condition greatly, satisfied the channel dimension and the flow condition that the Ⅲ level waterway standard requests, achieves the anticipated target.
