Paper describes the causes of the super-cooling and overheating phenomena appear in the engineering machinery engine, and the influence of engine efficiency and life. Introduced the advantages and shortages of existing three kinds of engineering machinery engine cooling fan, distinguishing the three ways, designed a new kind automatically adjustable angle cooling fan innovatively. base on the engine of ZL50C loader, designed a new kind cooling fan and its automatically adjustable angle device, using Pro/e software established three-dimensional fan model, import into the fluent software to simulate the internal flow field of the automatically adjustable cooling fan in different installation angle. Then draw the curves of flow-efficiency and flow-total pressure when the cooling fan running in different installation angle, make sure the range of cooling fan efficient installation angle. Do a full flow field simulation of the cooling fan in the best installation angle, calculated the fan flow parameters to reflect the aerodynamic performance of cooling fan, simulate out the air path line and the static pressure distribution on the impeller, the simulation results can reflect the excellent characteristics of cooling fan truly.
