With the rapid development of modern transportation, container became popular in theglobal range as a standardized cargo transport carrier. Our country has become the biggestcontainer floor manufacturer. In the past30years, each component of container and theirproduction process has achieved remarkable progress except container floor. Container floorindustry has been very dependent on tropical hardwood floors. Due to the tropical hardwoodsupply gradually being reduced and used in other more profitable industries such as furnituremanufacturing industry, tropical hardwood for container floor would run out sooner or later.In addition, the development of container floor industry has been severely constrained sincetraditional container floor have the characteristics of heavy mass and the backward productiontechnology.Honeycomb sandwich structure originates from bionics. Compared with the solid ma-terial of the same type, Honeycomb sandwich structure has high specific intensity, high spe-cific rigidity and low weight, which has been widely used in aviation, aerospace and otherfields. It’s very necessary to have the research of honeycomb sandwich structure applying tothe container floor.In this thesis, regular hexagon honeycomb sandwich structure is the main object of study.first of all,the sandwich layer structure characteristics and the equivalent mechanical prop-erties of honeycomb sandwich panel have been studied on the basis research of previous stu-dies. According to the sandwich theory,the equivalent analysis of honeycomb sandwich wasanalyzed. The elastic modulus of the honeycomb core affects the overall mechanical strengthand rigidity of sandwich panel. The material and structure of honeycomb core determines theelastic modulus. Then, according to the actual test condition of container floor, The thesis op-timize and analyze the different material honeycomb floor to seek the honeycomb size struc-ture which meet the mechanical strength of the container floor. At the same time, according tothe small sample test standards, the thesis use ANSYS finite element software to simulate thethree-point bending test,briquetting test and apply statics analysis to honeycomb floor tostudy the mechanical properties of the honeycomb sandwich structure floor. Finally, the thesis has the experiment analysis of the honeycomb structure. According to the process of thebending strength test and the measured value, the thesis analyzes the characteristics of thecompression failure stages and failure modes that may arise in the case of the three-pointbending strength and four-point bending strength.
