Since the1970s, With the development of economy and technology more andmore attention has been paid to the reliability of10kV distribution system, and thedistribution system reliability has become to one of the most studied and discussionaltopics today. so largely the supply reliability of the distribution network affects to theelectricity of users, it gets more and more attention so as to promote the study of thedistribution network reliability. Currently, the study of distribution network reliabilityis carried out in some industrial countries, and many developed achievements havebeen put into use. Recent years, we has also promote our research work to thereliability of the power distribution system in China, as well as update and reform theurban and rural distribution network in large scale.Taking the distribution network supply reliability in Suixi as the study object,this paper firstly analyses the research status of domestic and international distributionsystem reliability, and then introduces some basic theory used in current distributionsystem reliability, focusing the study on the state quo of the distribution network inSuixi, and pointing out the problems in the Suixi Power supply Bureau distributionnetwork from the analysis of the network profiles, equipment level of the Mediumvoltage distribution network structure, status quo of power supply reliability. On thisbasis, combined with the practical situation of Suixi Power Supply Bureau, adistribution system reliability evaluation system is established and used in theday-to-day operation and management. At last some improvement measures areproposed to response to problems in the distribution network of Suixi, with a view tosupply a reference for improving the reliability of power in Suixi.
